Welcome to the website for Pelletstown Educate Together National School. We hope that your visit to this website will give you a flavour of school life at PETNS. Having opened in September 2015 with 45 Junior Infant pupils, we have grown each year and we now cater for pupils all the way up to 6th class. We were also delighted to open our first autism class in September 2021 and our second one in September 2023.

As an Educate Together school we are co-educational, child-centred, democratically-run and equality-based. We celebrate the identity and uniqueness of each child and their families. Our ethos is "No Child is an Outsider". We place a huge emphasis on respect for oneself, for others and for the world around us. Teaching and learning is of a very high standard in our school and we have high expectations of our pupils, who are all encouraged to reach their full potential. All members of our school community work collaboratively to create a safe, happy, vibrant and child-centred learning environment.

Parental involvement is an important feature of school life at Pelletstown ETNS, through the PTA, volunteering opportunities and involvement in day-to-day, as well as annual, activities. Local community associations also actively engage with and support our school!

Enjoy exploring our school website, which we hope will give you a brief snapshot of our wonderful school community. Should you have any queries please don't hesitate to get in touch through the contact us section!

Slán go fóill,
